Follow These Tips for Safe Tick Control Pesticide Use
DECIDE whether you have a tick-risky yard and FOLLOW the tick control guidelines outlined in this Spray Safe Play Safe Homeowner Tick Card. CHECK your state's regulations regarding pesticide usage and neighbor notification. DO NOT apply the pesticide in any greater quantity or more frequently than the label specifies. Children and pets should be AWAY from the area before applying tick control pesticides. WEAR appropriate clothing and protective gear, as indicated by the product label. AVOID applying pesticide in windy conditions, near water, or on blooming plants or trees.
